We are looking for available Prep & Roto artists. You must be UK based due to project requirements and if you are willing to commute to the studio from time to time this is a bonus, but not essential.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of live-action footage with computer-generated elements by creating precise mattes and preparing clean plates. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with compositors and VFX supervisors to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Create accurate roto mattes and clean plates to facilitate the compositing process.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to roto and prep tasks.
• Maintain consistent communication with production teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Some experience in prep & roto within a VFX studio environment.
• Good examples of complex wire removals. 
• Proficiency in software such as Nuke, Silhouette, and Mocha.
• Strong understanding of compositing workflows and techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work methodically.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
